My Practice
I work with people that want to understand themselves better and overcome whatever is stopping them from being their best. This could be addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, or something that you haven't put a name to yet. Whatever it is, we will work together to gain a deeper insight into you and your unique story. We will develop healthy coping skills and tools as well as process through hurts and wounds that are stopping you from living the life you want.
My practice is rooted in Narrative Therapy. This approach is focused on retelling and understanding your unique story and experience. This will help you gain a deeper and more meaningful understanding of yourself - not only your struggle but also your strengths and successes. Our sense of ourselves and our world is built on the stories we tell and have been told, but often these stories are incomplete, unfair or simply wrong in some very important ways. By reauthoring them we can restore our sense of ourselves and our lives in a more meaningful, purposeful and inspiring way.
I want my clients to realize their best potential selves and live happy, meaningful lives. I also appreciate from both professional and lived experience how difficult this can be. If you share this goal I want to help you achieve it.
